Eric Colville: Music

Be Alright

(Eric Colville)
March 24, 2005
In my manic depressive spectrum this represents the pendulum swinging a little wide on the happy side (does that rhyme?)
I don't know the reasons
I don't really care
like a change of seasons
little something in the air
Mr. New Perspective won't you
step out in the light
cause indications indicate
that everything gonna be alright

everybody knows me
everybody smiles
good vibrations seem to
shake the ground for miles and miles
even my old enemies
no they don't wanna fight
all has been forgotten now that
everything gonna be alright

could it be I'm unaware that I'm the victim of
conspiracies of kindness another random act of love
maybe I'm just dreaming have I finally fooled myself
could it be it's really me and not somebody else
(Guess I always thought it would be someone - someone else) Second time

I've been thinking 'bout it
Waiting for so long
consolation in the
darkest hour before the dawn
‘cause I can see a new day coming
widely scattered light
illuminates the road ahead and
everything gonna be alright
